April 13, 2014 CINCINNATI, OH – Have you met Gloria Swansong, iconic cinema star of… well… a few years ago? Now’s your chance! Join Gloria, her biographer Will Writer and a bevy of her not-so-adoring fans on May 2nd at the American Legion Post 318’s Patriot Center, 6660 Clough Pike in Anderson for an evening of food and fun.
American Legion Post 318 in Anderson is offering four fabulous evenings of fun to kick off your summer, starting with Lights, Camera MURDER! a fast-paced, interactive murder mystery where audience members become suspects and have a chance to solve the crime, presented by locally owned and operated The Whodunit? Players. An uproarious combination of theater and comedy and a chance to use your deductive skills with hilarious results!
The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans. The Legion raises millions of dollars in donations at the local, state and national levels to help veterans and their families and to provide college scholarship opportunities. ABOUT THE WHODUNIT? PLAYERS: The Whodunit? Players is a troupe of professional actors who create interactive murder mysteries for parties, company meetings, rehearsal dinners and receptions or team building events. The Whodunit? Players can spice up any party, dinner, meeting or other professional engagement with a challenging game of MURDER. Audience members become suspects and have a chance to solve the crime. The Whodunit? Players present a unique entertainment that combines live theater and improvisational comedy with hilarious results! Holiday Mystery Dinner Theater. It’s 1943 and railroad tycoon Lionel Twain is preparing to make a big announcement. Rumor has it that he is planning a three-day excursion route to the North Pole. The excitement has been building as the train’s route will take passengers to four winter-themed attractions along the way: A ski resort, an Arctic safari adventure, a scenic northern forest preserve and the world’s largest holiday tree farm and nursery.
But big changes are afoot as Twain changes the train to an express cargo route carrying wartime supplies to Alaska. And none of the guests are too happy about the planned detour. Who has plans of their own to change Twain’s final destination?

Santa’s daughter, Ann Arctic, has been left in charge of the North Pole. But Ann isn’t satisfied with the elves’ productivity and decides to hire an efficiency expert. The expert, Ava Neezer, has completed her study and is about to announce which departments will be cut. The tension is mounting… whose department will go? Pepe Mint’s Holiday Confection department? Holly Ann Ivey’s Holiday Plants? Lincoln Logg’s Construction Toys? Sylvianne Golde’s Holiday Jewelry? Teddy Bear’s Stuffed Animals and Plush… the list goes on and on. But who is upset enough at their impending doom to take drastic action… who is capable of murder? Interactive dinner theater.

It seems each guest has a reason to want Santa out of the way… there’s emotionally scarred Douglas Fir… miserly Evan Ezer… holiday activist Holly Daze… Arnie Ment the frustrated Elf wannabe…traffic control lobbyist Aretha Holly… disillusioned believer Joy T. DeWorld to name a few. But one guest is about to get a really big lump of coal for being the baddest of the bad and doing away with Santa! Can Barry Mitzvah, the Jewish elf, and Santa’s daughter, Ann Arctic, discover who might be capable of… murder? Interactive mystery dinner.
