CALLING ALL SPOOKY, SULTRY SINGERS!

Auditions will take place on Saturday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 9 at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (3412 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati). You can sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4CA4AB2FA0FCC52-57878372-singout#/ 

CaBOOret is a celebration of all things Halloween. The vibe will be spooky, sultry, camp, and, like all things SingOUT Cincy, very queer!

Singers will be paid $30/hour. There will be at least 2 rehearsals leading up to CaBOOret. Estimated total pay: $120-$200.

CaBOOret is on Thursday, October 30 at 7pm at Somerhaus. Performers must be 16 or older. 

Please prepare 30-45 second cuts of 2 songs in musical theater, jazz, or a similar style that fit your vision of the Halloween season. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. Self-accompaniment is also fine(piano, guitar, etc., whatever you’ve got)! No tracks, please.

Audition for SingOUT Cincy’s second annual Visions of Us Cabaret! Auditions will take place on Saturday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 28 at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (3412 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220).

VISIONS OF US: Songs of Queer Representation is a celebration of the songs and media that make us feel seen.

Please prepare 1 to 2 complete songs that fit your understanding of representation and visions of the LGBTQIA+ community. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. Self-accompaniment is also welcome (piano, guitar, bring us whatever you’ve got)! No tracks, please.

Video submissions will also be considered. Please email singout@singoutcincy.com if the audition dates don’t work for you and you’d like to submit video audition materials.

Singers will be paid $100 for rehearsals leading up to Cabaret, one dress rehearsal on March 20, and the performance of 2-3 songs aligned with the theme. VISIONS OF US is on Friday, March 21 at 7:30pm at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center.

Performers must be 18+.

Auditions will take place on February 11, from 1:30-3pm and February 12, from 6:30-8pm at the Cincinnati Ballet (Gilbert Avenue Studio – 1801 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45202).
