The utopian atmosphere of a Shaker community becomes complicated when a newcomer claims visions of angels. The Sisters suspect her to be a “winter Shaker;” one who suddenly “converts” when life gets too hard on the farm. Is this a resurgence of a spiritual Shaker celebration or something manufactured so that she can stay? Why is the newcomer privileged to see these visions yet the most devout Eldress is not? Soon other young women see angels too – or do they just long to appear part of a divine cluster amongst the faithful?

QUID PRO QUO is Latin for “something for something” or “equal exchange.” This award-winning play focuses on the delicate perceptions of the hearing and Deaf communities. Two college students are forced to acknowledge new challenges when they exchange lives. Performed in American Sign Language with voice interpretation, QUID PRO QUO offers both hearing and Deaf audiences a unique and remarkable experience.

However, little did they know that the mansion is inhabited by alien transsexuals from the planet Transylvania and Dr. Frank N Furter is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiments.
