In celebration of the 175th anniversary of the visit of John Quincey Adams to Cincinnati to dedicate the new observatory, Mount Adams Pilgrim Chapel is presenting a new one-act musical, “Quincey in Cincy.”
Volunteer singers of various ages are needed for the chorus. Two featured singers are also needed:
- General Ormsby Mitchel, tenor playing 30 to 40
- Clara, lyric soprano playing ages 20 to 30.
The two featured roles will receive an honorarium.
The show will be performed at Mt. Adams Pilgrim Chapel on Friday, November 9th at 7 pm.
Rehearsals will be after church on Sundays at the chapel.
The composer and musical director is Steve Hinnenkamp.
