Born into the florescent glow of a White Castle ladies’ room, Bob is destined to become a “Great Man.” Form busy highway rest stops to exorbitant desert mansions, Bob energetically pursues his Destiney across the American landscape and meets a myriad of unconventional countrymen along the way. As Bob’s unfailing optimism leads him through a treacherous pursuit of happiness, he encounters inspiring generosity, crushing heartaches, blissful happiness, and stunning coincidences that help him discover what it means to be truly “great.”

A new take on Sophocles’ tragedy, ANTIGONE (born against.) blurs the lines between adaptation and translation and places contemporary issues of oppression at the fore. The struggle between morally right and politic, the tension between peace and justice come to life in a story that is both timeless and horrifically timely.

Frank is the nanny of Brandon, a 30-year-old man who lives his life as a toddler 24 hours a day. After three years, the two have grown close and Frank is troubled when he notices self-destructive tendencies in Brandon. He recruits Sandy, an altruistic but lost woman he meets at the park to go undercover as another adult baby to find what’s hurting Brandon without alerting his mother, his greatest enabler.

When 4th grader Johnny shoots himself, he leaves behind a play as a suicide note that the kids in his class are forced to perform as a memorial. As friends and bullies assume the roles of Johnny and his classmates, a heartbreaking, darkly curious story emerges, offering a glimpse into the motivation behind Johnny’s actions.

Crumble: Struggling to cope with the untimely death of her father, Janice holds spiteful conversations with her dolls, her Mother suffers from panic attacks, their deteriorating Apartment incessantly begs for repairs, their only comforts: visitations from Justin Timberlake and Harrison Ford.

Authorial Intent: Three days after moving in together, a woman tells a man she doesn’t love him anymore. Suddenly, the play itself undergoes a parallel breakdown… Is there anything at all behind the artifice?
