Three people: a survivalist, an artist and a Silicon Valley bro – hunted refugees blown out of their comfortable lives by a universal catastophe. Hopeless, exhausted, they meet a “coyote” – a guerilla fighter with fashion sense who will take them to the New World only if they expose their true selves through Native ritual and Hollywood trivia: Ultimate Vetting at the end of the world.

Heartland America, post-Katrina: a pair of technicians working for the EPA in New Orleans after the flood discover a survivor who can not only name the chemicals in the water but tell where they come from. With the help of military dolphins, soccer moms and animatronic Indians, and fueled by Farmer Dave’s chili-mac, she leads them up the rivers to find that Katrina has displaced time itself – past and present collide as they retrace Lewis and Clark’s journey only to find the source of the terrible burning in the waters — Farmer Dave himself.
