THESE SHINING LIVES Runs April 25-May 3

THESE SHINING LIVES
Village Players
April 25-May 3
[Fort Thomas]

Directed by Becky Collins

THESE SHINING LIVES chronicles the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their day, exploring their true story and its continued resonance. Catherine and her friends are dying, its true; but theirs is a story of survival in its most transcendent sense, as they refuse to allow the company that stole their health to kill their spirits—or endanger the lives of those who come after them. Content Disclosures: Mild language, sexual innuendo, discussion of death and terminal disease.

HAIR Runs April 24-27

HAIR
UC College-Conservatory of Music

Patricia Corbett Theater [University Heights]

Directed by Vincent DeGeorge

HAIR celebrates the ‘60s counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. To an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show wows audiences with songs like “Aquarius,” “Good Morning, Starshine,” “Hair,” “I Got Life” and “Let The Sunshine In.” Exploring ideas of identity, community, global responsibility and peace, HAIR remains relevant as ever as it examines what it means to be a young person in a changing world.
