MOON OVER BUFFALO by Ken Ludwig with performances on September 22 – October 7, 2017. The hilarious MOON OVER BUFFALO centers on fading 1950s stars George and Charlotte Hay who learn they might have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee show and might cast them in his next movie. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong with a visit from their daughter’s clueless fiancé and hysterical uncertainty about which play they’re performing caused by Charlotte’s old stage-manager mother who hates George.
GOLDILOCKS ON TRIAL by Ed Monk with performances on December 1 – 10, 2017. Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found guilty and sent to prison, or will the truth come out? It’s up to Judge Wallabee and some very silly jurors to decide, after hearing testimony from Goldee, the bickering Three Bears and surprise witness Merwin the Big Bad Wolf, among others.
THE GAME’S AFOOT by Ken Ludwig with performances on February 16 – March 3, 2018. It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired for his Sherlock Holmes portrayal, has invited his cast members for a weekend at his Connecticut castle. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. It’s up to Gillette who assumes the role of Holmes, to track down the killer. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit set during the Christmas holidays.
ANGEL STREET by Patrick Hamilton with performances on May 4 – 19, 2018. A Broadway hit, ANGEL STREET focuses on the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in 19th century London. While everything begins with Victorian tranquility, it becomes apparent the suavely handsome Mr. Manningham is slowly driving his devoted wife Bella to the brink of insanity with a cunning kindness that masks sinister motives. While he is out, Mrs. Manningham has an unexpected caller: Inspector Rough from Scotland Yard who is convinced her husband is a homicidal maniac who committed murder 15 years ago in the same house.
Cincinnati community theater premiere of IF/THEN music by Tom Kitt and Book and Lyrics by Brian Yorkey with performances on July 6 – 21, 2018. From the creators of the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning Next to Normal, IF/THEN is a fascinating new musical that simultaneously follows one woman’s two possible life paths, painting a deeply moving portrait of the lives that we lead, as well as the lives that we might have led.
Sign language interpreters from Cincinnati State will continue to sign for select shows throughout the season.

· THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. Performances in May 5 – 20, 2017. A Regional Premiere, meet four Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by Fate—and an impromptu happy hour—and decide it is high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they’ve lost through the years. Over the course of six months filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle-aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives.
· THE TOXIC AVENGER, Book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, Music and lyrics by David Bryan. Performances in July 7 – 22, 2017. A Regional Community Theater Premiere and winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical, The Toxic Avenger is a charming love story and laugh-out-loud musical that has it all — an unlikely hero, his beautiful girlfriend, a corrupt New Jersey mayor and two guys who play everyone else, from bullies, mobsters, old ladies and stiletto-wearing back-up singers. Featuring a wailing rock score, this comical musical has something for everyone to enjoy and will leave audiences laughing in the aisles as it rocks the house.
Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 pm. Sunday matinee starts at 3 pm, and Thursday performance is at 7:30 pm. Goldilock on Trial performances will be Friday at 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm.

Queen City Productions will be holding auditions for it’s summer musical; which will be the regional community theater premiere of Disney’s THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. The show includes many of the favorite songs from the Disney movie including, “Out There,” “God Help the Outcasts” and “Hellfire.” It also features many new and beautiful numbers written by the original composers Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. The stage adaptation also feaures many speaking and solo singing roles and a strong choir.

CINCINNATI, OH– Pones is known for using unconventional methods to tackle difficult social themes. You may recall the company’s 2014 award-winning Fringe Festival production Traffick which addressed the topic of human trafficking by stripping the audience of traditional theatre etiquette and delivering highly-evocative creative pieces in a dark church. For its tenth Fringe Festival production, Pones addresses the current political climate by sharing stories of fellow Cincinnatians to help build understanding and bridge divides in PLACE/SETTING.
