Auditions Announced for BUS STOP at Sunset Players

Sunset Players will hold auditions for Bus Stop by WIlliam Inge and directed by David Roth. Sign up for an audition slot here or come out without a slot: 

Audition Dates:

  • Sunday, June 8 from 7-9 pm
  • Monday, June 9 from 7-9 pm 

Location: Arts Center at Dunham, 1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, OH 45238

Synopsis: In the middle of a snowstorm, a group of travelers is forced to take shelter in a diner where they find themselves grappling with their personal struggles and relationships.

Auditions are open and will consist of cold readings from the script. The play include these eight roles:

  • VIRGIL- 40s to 50s. Needs to play guitar, but doesn’t sing.
  • BO- Needs to appear to be 21. Preferably handsome and athletic.
  • CHERIE- Needs to appear to be 19. Needs to sing somewhat proficient.
  • GRACE- 40s or 50s.
  • ELMA- Needs to play 14 to 17.
  • CARL- 40 to 50.
  • WILL- 40 to 50. Should have some physical size.
  • DOCTOR LYMAN- 50 to 60. Refined. Needs to play a little Shakespeare.

Performance dates are October 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, and 25 at the Arts Center at Dunham.
