Prepare 2 contrasting monologues totaling no more than 3 minutes. Bring a headshot and resume (please do not staple them together).
Characters:
- Susan B. Anthony – Believable to play 30s and up. Stubborn and head-strong; imagine a shaken Coke bottle that gets opened. Unapologetically and unabashedly a feminist, and definitely unafraid of men. Leads with the gut.
- Frederick Douglass – Believable to play 30s and up. Confident, and emotionally controlled; imagine a shaken Coke bottle. Pragmatic, patient, and focused. Hyper aware of his surroundings. Leads with the head.
