Nativity Players Theater Company is a ministry of the Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Pleasant Ridge. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for church and community members to teach, learn, enjoy fellowship, entertain and be entertained through the experience of Community Theater.
We are holding an open call for anyone interested in directing the Spring 2017 production. The meeting is on Monday December 7, 2015 at 7:00pm at Silverton Cafe on Montgomery Road in Silverton. It is not necessary to be a member of the Parish to direct, so long as a member of the Parish is on the production staff. The staging dates of the 2017 production have not yet been verified, but will tentatively be in late April or early May.
Auditions are conducted in early January with rehearsals beginning thereafter. Rehearsals are held on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at Nativity School. If interested, please prepare a brief proposal to present to the Board regarding the show, your vision regarding the production, proposed members of your production staff and estimated productions costs (if available). If you are unable to attend the meeting date, but are interested in proposing a show, please contact Laurie Murphy (313-0377) or any other member of the Nativity Player’s Board prior to the meeting date to make other arrangements.
