May 19, 2015 – Beechmont Players, Inc. (BPI) is pleased to announce the cast of its summer family-friendly production, THE TRIALS OF ROBIN HOOD:
- Lusty/Silly Robin Hood – Boyang Zhang
- Maid Marian – Shannon Raidy
- King’s Deer/Archery Butt – Matt Thomas
- Janice – Claudia Rose Wright
- Lady Ellen/Lady Lucy – Caitlyn Maurmeier
- Nancy, Maid Marian’s Lady-in-Waiting and Sister Stephanie – Gabby Arvizu
- Billy, Maid Marian’s Lady-in-Waiting and Sister Elena – Amanda Prell
- Danni, Maid Marian’s Lady-in-Waiting and Sister Agatha – Merrie Stewart
- Will Scarlet/Willa Scarlet and Scarlet Will – Matt Santeler
- Soldier to Sheriff of Nottingham – Michael Fruhwirth
- Esmerelda of Locksley/Abbess – Cindy Rumke
- Honest Dave the Tinker – Libby Jonas

BPI is in need of a number of actors, however, to fill out the cast:
- Lovelorn Robin, 20s. He will also play a Tax Collector and a Townsman. When Maid Marian tells her version, the Robin in her story is loopy for her.
- King Richard, 40s and a royal looking fellow. He is the judge of all of the trials.
- Friar Tuck, 30s-40s-a bit portly would be good. He will also play an Evil Lord and a Peasant. A somewhat shady character.
- Little John, 20s-30s. He also plays a peasant. A member of the Merry Men and good with a quarter staff.
- Herald, no age requirement. He also plays a Clergyman and a Servant. He and Janice are the voices of the court.
- William Church/Archer; Daniel Boyle/Archer; Nathaniel Piper/Alan A Dale. All are Merry Men.
- Finn Lucky/Archer; Tobias/Archer. All are the Sheriff’s soldiers.
- Much the Miller’s Son/Madge the Miller’s Daughter, no age requirement. A little drag going on here.
- Edward of Locksley, 40s-50s. He is the father of all of the Robins. Also plays Lord Duncan and a Townsman.
Contact director Lynne Aronson at 513.624.8665 for further information or with any questions about these roles.
Back from the Crusades, King Richard sifts through conflicting stories to figure out what happened in his absence. Told from the testimony of Robin himself, Maid Marian and Prince John, this family-friendly comedy combines three different stories into one hilarious trial.
THE TRIALS OF ROBIN HOOD runs Aug. 7-15, 2015, at the Anderson Center Theatre (7850 Five Mile Road). Tickets are $15 general admission and $13 students, seniors and active military and can be purchased at www.beechmontplayers.org, by calling 513-233-2468 or at the box office.
