Two sisters in the autumn of their lives reflect on their past in THE WHALES OF AUGUST by Obie Award-winning playwright David Berry. At a beach house on an island off Maine where they spent time as children, sisters Libby and Sarah — both widows — try to reconnect after a lifetime of jealousy and misunderstandings kept them apart. Into the mix comes a charming Russian émigré. In need of a place to stay, the man works his wiles on the still impressionable Sarah, much to the chagrin of Libby.
