Escape to the wilds of Colorado as a guest of The Peaceful Valley Ski Lodge.  Three best friends whose families dumped them at the Happy Hollow Nursing Home will be joining you.  Even though their families think they are too old to have fun, they are just getting started in life as hilarity and spite lead them from one adventure to another. You will be in stitches as you witness the chaos that three little old ladies create. Games, entertainment and slap-your-mama good food await you.   But whatever you do, don’t venture too far from the warmth and security of the lodge after dark.  You never know what lurks in the valley or snow-covered slopes.

Good fairies Lilac, Marigold, and Daisy, from Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s SLEEPING BEAUTY, offer their beauty tips and dish some kingdom gossip in their first episode of Fairy Talk.

The Passing of Larry Behymer

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved friend and founding member of Beechmont Players, Larry Behymer, has passed away. Words cannot begin to describe what this man has meant to not only our group, but to all of us individually. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Auditions Announced for Nativity Players’ THE WEDDING SINGER

MISC_AuditionsTHE WEDDING SINGER is coming to Nativity! Robbie Hart and all his hip and happening ’80s friends will take over the Nativity Performing Arts Center in April in the Nativity Players’ 2015 production.

Made famous by the 1998 Adam Sandler movie, THE WEDDING SINGER tells the story of would-be rock star/wedding singer Robbie and his quest for the girl of his dreams.

Auditions will be Sunday, Jan. 4, 1:30-6:30 p.m. (dance auditions 3:30-4:30pm), and Monday, Jan. 5, 6-9:30 p.m. (dance auditions 6-7pm), in the Nativity School cafeteria, with callbacks, if needed, Wednesday, Jan. 7.  

ALL those auditioning MUST attend one of the dance audition sessions. This song-and-dance heavy show seeks actors and actresses of all ages, with a small childrens’ chorus, Grade 4 and older.

Auditions Announced for MPI’s 12 ANGRY JURORS

Sunday, February 15, from 1-4pm and Monday, February 16, from 7-10pm at Walton Creek Theater

Feb. 16 auditions cancelled due to inclement weather.
New date: Tue, Feb. 17 from 7-10pm

A 19-year old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. “He doesn’t stand a chance,” mutters the guard as the 12 jurors are taken into the bleak jury room. It looks like an open-and- shut case – until one of the jurors begins opening the others’ eyes to the facts. One of the jurors says, “We should not make it a personal thing.” But personal it does become, with each juror revealing his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder is re-enacted, and a new murder threat is born before their eyes!

Auditions will consist of readings from the script.

Men and women, ages 21 and up. All roles are open to either gender – no roles have been pre-cast. Looking for lots of different types.

12 Angry Jurors will be staged May 8-24, 2015.
