This is a very unique opportunity for anyone who has been working/has worked professionally in theatre who is now looking for something a bit more steady (in an area with a much lower cost of living). This position will not begin until next fall, but we are hoping to cast a wide net in order to pull in just the right person.
Must be comfortable coaching vocals for both musical theatre and rock performance, directing and working with student actors, and accompanying students. This school is a unique place focused on high school students who have a passion for the arts and who are considering pursuing a career in an arts field. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ALREADY BE A LICENSED TEACHER…in fact, it will probably be less annoying for you if you are not.
This is a career technical job, which means that we are looking to hire out of the workforce in the performing arts field. There will be a licensure program involved–even for folks who already have academic licensure.
