Mariemont Players Announces IS LIFE WORTH LIVING?

MPI_Is Life Worth LivingMariemont Players presents Is Life Worth Living? a comedy by Lennox Robinson, at the Walton Creek Theater, 4101 Walton Creek Road (just East of Mariemont), November 7th through November 23rd, 2014.

A traveling repertory troupe comes to a small village in Ireland and after a week or so of Ibsen, Chekhov and Strindberg, the town is driven mad. This gloriously goofy satire imagines the effects a steady diet of serious drama might have on the amiable residents of the provincial seaside town of Inish. Lennox Robinson’s pointed and charming comedy was originally produced in 1933 and successfully revived in 2009 by New York’s Mint Theatre company.

IS LIFE WORTH LIVING? is directed by Jef Brown, produced by Wayne Kirsch, and features Betsy Bossart, Jan Costello, Michael Gettinger,Gary Glass, Michael Ireland, Barbara Karol, Art Kibby, Dan Maloney, Stephanie Mooney, Arny Stoller, Traci Taylor, Collin Wenzell and Jack Williams.

Performances will be at 8:00pm on November 7th, November 8th, November 14th, November 15th and November 21st; at 2:00pm on November 9th and November 23rd; at 7:30pm on November 13th and November 20th; at 2:00pm and 7:00pm on November 16th; and at 3:00pm & 8:00pm on November 22nd.
