FENCES
Presented by Wright State University
Sept. 18-28
Dayton
Set in the late 1950s through 1965, the play takes place in a black tenement in Pittsburgh and centers around Troy Maxon, an African-American garbage collector. Troy takes great pride in keeping his family together and providing for them. However, he is in a constant struggle for fairness in society. In the process he increasingly builds barriers between himself and his family. –StageAgent.com
