The artistic committee of Lebanon Theatre Company would like to invite you to meet with us Saturday September 20, 2014, 8 a.m.- 12 pm, to give us a pitch for shows you might like to direct for our 2015-2016 theatrical season.The pitch should include brief description of the play(s) or musical play(s) and a view of how it would fit in with the LTC standard and sensibilities. You might consider the cast requirements, special settings, costumes or other aspects that would give the committee a better idea of how the show would play out (pun intended).
So if you are willing to chat with us about a show or shows that you have a passion for, get your ideas together and contact me to set up an appointment.
We have been tossing titles around in our discussions. You may want to consider one of these, but they are only suggestions. We will entertain proposals for any show that you care to present to us. These are the ones raised so far: Heaven Can Wait, The Sting, God’s Favorite, Murder on the Orient Express, and Web of Murder. Our shows have traditionally been in September, March, and May for the main stage season.In addition, we are considering a Christmas show that would preferably involve children in the cast. As examples, in the past we have presented A Christmas Chaos, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Eeyore’s Christmas.
