Panelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) have recognized Ensemble Theatre’s production of SIZE MATTERS with a 4 Star Rating.
SIZE MATTERS is a world premiere one-man show written and starring Raymond McAnnally, a comedy based on his life dealing with weight issues. Living life as a “Big Guy” is one obstacle, but imagine carrying one hundred extra pounds and getting work based seventy percent off of your appearance. Working in a profession that forces his body issues to take center stage, he’s learned how size matters, and how it doesn’t. Panelists recommended the show, calling it “hilarious and very personal yet universal…Raymond McAnally plays himself and several other characters (most notably his nephew) with humor, humanity and poignancy…a cherry on top to a terrific season at Ensemble Theatre.”
SIZE MATTERS continues through May 25th. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.ensemblecincinnati.org/
Nominations for LCT awards will be determined and announced at the end of the season and winners awarded at the annual LCT gala in the spring.
