Film Auditions on Aug. 19

THE LAST BATTLE is a feature-length film, written and produced (Big Papa Film Productions) by Cincinnati actor Douglas Palmer. It is the story of a retired Marine reservist who must make the transition to full-time civilian life while still dealing with the aftermath of war. Actors and crew will be unpaid, but will be fed. Actors, extras and crew will receive DVDs of the finsihed film and will receive film credit. Filming will start in October and will take 6-9 months (mostly week-ends during the day). Actors’ time and busy schedules will be respected. The finished film is expected by December 2014.

Auditions will be held at Zappa Studios, 10831 Millington Court, Blue Ash, OH 45241. (Zappa Studios shares a space with a dance studio.) Auditions start at 2 p.m. and will be on a first-come, first serve basis. Headshots and resumes are requested. The auditions will be cold reads.
