The Old West Festival in Williamsburg, Ohio is looking for Volunteers for this year’s street cast. We are looking for atmosphere characters to interact with guests.
We are looking to fill all roles, but have a specific need for the following:
- Gamblers (We need a couple of these to staff a Parlor and have enough that they don’t have to spend the whole day in the hall)
- Saloon Girls and Can Can troupe.
- Melodrama Cast (We are redoing the melodrama and many of the recurring characters are no longer needed so we will be looking to cast the new ones).
- Master of Ceremonies (for the Riding show)
- Anyone with special talents (Musicians, singers, storytellers etc.)
The Audition dates for this year are Saturday June 9, 2012 and Sunday July 1, 2012 at the Old West Festival Grounds.
The Old West Festival is located conveniently to all areas of the Cincinnati Tri-State area.From Cincinnati, take I-275 to exit 63B, State Route 32 East towards Batavia. You will follow State Route 32 approximately 14 miles before turning right on Eastwood Road. In one-tenth of a mile take another right on Cobb Road.The Old West Festival is located on the right in one-half mile at 1449 Greenbush Cobb Road.
