MamLuft&Co. Dance celebrates its fifth anniversary in Cincinnati in 2011-2012, and uses its five years here as inspiration to explore themes of change and place and how the two are entangled. Latitude consists of two parts by Jeanne Mam-Luft and Susan Honer (ML&Co. Assistant Choreographer) choreographed in collaboration with the performers. The project will use a combination of site-specific dance-on-camera and live action dance on-stage. The first section, Here celebrates Cincinnati locales. The second section,Milkweed takes its inspiration from the amazing migrational patterns of Monarch butterflies.
