Town Hall Theatre Seeks Education Director

EDUCATION DIRECTOR – Washington Township Town Hall Theatre in Centerville, Ohio seeks education director to oversee the theatre’s education and outreach programming and to direct one or more main-stage productions each year. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: teaching acting classes, developing and planning curriculum, creating and supervising workshops and school residencies, interviewing and evaluating instructors and outreach staff; coordinating in-school tours; assisting with season selection and auditions; directing plays/musicals. Duties are determined and performed under the direction of the Theater Manager. Undergraduate degree in Theatre required. Degrees in Acting and/or Theatre Education and professional paid experience preferred. Part-time afternoon/evening and weekend hours. 20+ hrs per wk. Salary Range: $16.07/hr. THT is a 300-seat theatre operated by the Washington Township Recreation Center and presents theatre for young audiences. Position is classified as PT Specialty Coordinator.
