Unity Productions Collaborates with Exploding Cincinnati Band WALK THE MOON

Unity Productions is honored to be using the music of Cincinnati band WALK THE MOON for The U.S. Premiere of NOTHING by Nic Balthazar at The 2012 Cincinnati Fringe Festival.

WALK THE MOON was recently seen on Late Night TV with Jimmy Fallon, and have played some of the largest music festivals in the country this past year including Lollapalooza and Bonaroo. Their managers, Mick Management (John Mayer, Ray Lamontagne, Sarah McLachlan), and record label, RCA Records (Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Christina Aguilera), have been more than supportive of Unity Productions in their mission to spread knowledge of anti-bullying, autism awareness, and suicide prevention through their performance of NOTHING. You can check out the band below and if you like what you hear, their music will be an integral part of The U.S. Premiere of NOTHING by Nic Balthazar at The 2012 Cincinnati Fringe Festival.

Inspired by a true story, NOTHING is a multi-media play about Ben, a young man with autism who is struggling through the social grind that is high school. He retreats to a world of technology (MP3, video cameras, online gaming) in order to escape his tragic reality of constant bullying. When Ben meets Barbie in a divine online connection, he builds up the courage to venture out of his comfort zone and visit her in the flesh. This overwhelming escapade leads Ben into a dangerous situation, putting his own life at risk.
