Feb. 17-19
Mason Community Center

Legally Blonde Jr. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle’s boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she’s not “serious” enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren’t mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.

Town Hall Theatre
Jan. 27-29
[Centerville]

Robin Hood, the outlaw of Sherwood Forest, leads a merry life with his followers. The citizens of the forest oppose wicked Prince John.  He’s taken the place of King Richard the Lion-Hearted, who has gone to the Holy Land on a crusade.  One day a caravan cuts through the wood.  In the convoy is Robin’s childhood sweetheart, Maid Marian, ward of King Richard.  Alas, the evil Lady Merle of Cornwall plans to force Marian to marry the Prince in an effort to make John more acceptable to the people of England.  It’s up to Robin to stop the marriage, defeat a nasty sheriff and secure Nottingham for the king’s return.
