The Walnut Hills High School Theatre Department Welcomes Audiences Back to the Stage for William Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT

Cincinnati, OH – Returning to the stage for the first time this season, The Walnut Hills High School Theatre Department is eager to welcome audiences to their fall play, the legendary comedy Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare. The show runs October 17-19, 2024 at 7 p.m. and October 19th at 2p.m.

Set in the fictional “island resort” of Illyria, this enchanting tale follows the adventures of Viola, a shipwrecked maiden who disguises herself as a man named Cesario. Amidst mistaken identities, unrequited love, and uproarious hijinks, Viola finds herself ensnared in a whirlwind of romantic entanglements. As the Countess Olivia falls for Viola/Cesario, who is actually in love with the Duke Orsino, the stage is set for a riotous yet heartwarming exploration of love’s twists and turns. Filled with witty wordplay, memorable characters, and timeless themes of identity and desire, Twelfth Night promises to captivate audiences of all ages with its blend of humor, romance, and revelry.
