The Passing of Stephanie Stoller

-From Mariemont Players Facebook page

Mariemont Players, Inc. is deeply saddened to share the passing of longtime supporter and cherished member of our theatre family, Stephanie Stoller, who left us on November 28, 2025 at the age of 90.

Stephanie was a woman of extraordinary spirit—determined, optimistic, and endlessly devoted to her family, her community, and the arts. Alongside her husband Arny, she was a constant source of warmth and support within our organization. The two were fixtures at members’ parties, longtime season subscribers who rarely missed a single production, and enthusiastic champions of community theatre across Cincinnati.

For decades, Stephanie volunteered her time and energy at the ACT Cincinnati convention, always by Arny’s side, giving back to the theatre community they both loved. Her presence was one of kindness, curiosity, and genuine joy—qualities that endeared her to so many within our organization.

Beyond her contributions to the arts, Stephanie led a remarkable life of service and leadership. As the first and only woman elected to City Council in Blue Ash, she served for an incredible 44 years, including terms as both Vice Mayor and Mayor. Her impact on the city, on her community, and on those who knew her is immeasurable.

Stephanie’s dedication, generosity, and unwavering support for Mariemont Players, Inc. will always be remembered. She will be profoundly missed.

Our hearts are with Arny, their daughters Debbe and Patti, their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who loved her.
