CHRISTMAS AT THE BAYOU BOWL Runs Dec. 5-17

CHRISTMAS AT THE BAYOU BOWL
Sunset Players
Dec. 5-17
Arts Center at Dunham [West Price Hill]

Written and directed by Bob Kelley

It’s Christmas Eve 1960-something, and the Bayou Bowl is buzzing. The gumbo’s hot, the cabins are full, and the annual Christmas show is just hours away. When the headline act gets stuck in Atlanta and three escaped convicts stumble into the spotlight, things take a turn. Meanwhile, twin sisters Solène and Luna—one a no-nonsense varmint catcher and the other a mysterious swamp witch—decide to settle a lifelong feud in a magical, knock-down drag-out brawl. And Bo Dupree, Jo’s big-hearted husband, has a surprise of his own: a secret children’s choir presentation ready to roll into the holiday spirit. With mistaken identities, moonlit spells, and a sheriff who’s more showman than sleuth, this Cajun Christmas caper is a strike for the whole family.
