IN THE GREEN
UC College-Conservatory of Music
Oct. 10-19
Cohen Family Studio Theater [University Heights]

Directed by Rachel Stevens

What does it mean to be whole? In a small cell, a woman tries to heal herself and a young girl by hiding from the world. The girl, Hildegard von Bingen, will grow to be an extraordinary composer, writer and activist — but only if she can put herself back together. You have never heard anything like this powerful new musical by singer-songwriter Grace McLean, known for originating the role of Marya in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Content advisory: This production contains adult themes including death, miscarriage and recovery from sexual assault.
