“Barefoot in the Park” is a delightful romantic comedy play written by Neil Simon. Set in New York City, the story revolves around a newlywed couple, Corie and Paul Bratter, as they navigate the ups and downs of married life. Corie is a free-spirited, adventurous young woman, while Paul is a more conservative, straight-laced lawyer. The play humorously explores their contrasting personalities, their comical struggles with their tiny, eccentric apartment, and the challenges they face in adjusting to married life. With witty dialogue and charming characters, “Barefoot in the Park” is a lighthearted and entertaining portrayal of love and relationships.
