Contemporary Acting with New Works
This contemporary acting workshop taught by area theatre favorites, Jared Joplin and Miranda McGee, begins with group/ensemble work and continues into scene study using cutting edge contemporary scripts. A fantastic opportunity to hone your acting skills while getting a glimpse of what’s new in American Theatre! The class meets for six 2.5 hour sessions, with an invited performance for the final session on Know Theatre’s Underground cabaret stage.

Advanced Acting for Adults
For those that have taken our Contemporary Acting class or for actors wanting to take the next step, this is the next step in advancing your skills, working with methods from prominent theatre practitioners and with more complex scripts from classical texts. Explore methods from Stanislavski and Meisner to Chakra work and Kaiser and expand your theatrical tool kit! The class meets for six 2.5 hour sessions, with an invited performance for the final session on Know Theatre’s Underground cabaret stage.
