July 11
Below Zero Lounge [Over-the-Rhine]

When you show up to Below Zero on Monday- you won’t know what you’re coming to see… AND NEITHER WILL WE.

This evening of chance features several play snippets and one acts by new and local playwrights- seen for the first time in Cincinnati!

When you enter the cabaret, you’ll put your name in a hat, and the cast for each play will be pulled at random. The fate of the lottery is final- and no adjustments will be made according to the indicated race, age, gender, sexuality etc. of the character.

The readings will be done cold with a group of cast mates meeting each other that night!

If you’re a playwright interested in new works, if you’re an actor looking to brush up your skills, or just an audience member who loves the perils of live theatre, this is sure to be a great and unpredictable night! Advisory: Adult themes and language.

Please note: performance is in the second floor Cabaret space, which is not handicap accessible.

Free, donations accepted.
