Partnership of Cincinnati Landmark Productions and the Professional Voice Center of Greater Cincinnati (ProVoice) Targets Vocal Actors in Region
A performer’s voice is arguably his/her most important tool. Taking good care of it is essential to an actor or singer’s career and long-term health.
Cincinnati Landmark Productions will partner with The Professional Voice Center of Greater Cincinnati (ProVoice) to provide a FREE vocal health workshop for performers on World Voice Day – Saturday, April 16 from 1 to 3pm – at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Wendy LeBorgne, Erin Donahue, and Carly Cantor, Cincinnati’s premier voice pathologists and singing voice specialists from ProVoice.
Who should attend? Anyone who uses their voice for performing (i.e. singers and actors) may be considered a “vocal athlete” and would benefit from participating in this workshop.
This 2-hour event will provide informational tips and techniques to help all vocal athletes maintain a healthy voice, as well as offer hands-on exercises to maximize vocal efficiency while minimizing vocal injury.
The Warsaw Federal Incline Theater, located at 801 Matson Place in East Price Hill, is the region’s newest performing arts venue. Owned and operated by Cincinnati Landmark Productions, it opened in June 2015 to 45 straight sell-outs. Ample, convenient garage parking is available for $5, in addition to free on-street parking.
