CINCINNATI, OH – February 6, 2015 —Sunset Players performs A NICE FAMILY GATHERING by Phil Olson as part of its 35th anniversary season at the Arts Center at Dunham.

Directed by Don Frimming and presented by special arrangements with Samuel French Inc., A NICE FAMILY GATHERING is a ghostly love story about a man who loved his wife so much, he almost told her before he died. Now he’s a ghost on a mission, and his son Carl is the unlikely messenger on Thanksgiving Day. When Mom’s date arrives, bombshell announcements are made, hormones are out of whack, and hilarity ensues.

The cast includes:

  • Jerry Yearout as Carl
  • Mike Burke as Michael
  • Dawn Lindsey as Jill
  • Amanda Borchers as Stacy
  • Kent Smith as Jerry Myers

Performance dates are February 20, 21, 27, 28, March 1, 5, 6 and 7, 2015. Shows begin at 8:00 p.m. with a Sunday performance starting at 2:00 p.m.

In its 35th season, Sunset Players, Inc. is a community theater group located on the west side of Cincinnati. Founded in 1979, the group performs at the Arts Center at Dunham and has produced more than 120 plays. Its mission is to bring a smile with its plays.
