Career highlights for Cincinnati native Diana Rogers (CCM Drama ’92) include the national tour of LES MISERABLES as Madame Thenardier (’89-91), which played Cincinnati at the Taft Theater in 1989. She reprised that role on the Broadway stage from 1994-95. For six years, she toured the country in ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE and she was also an original cast member of MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL.

Rogers can now add produced playwright to her resume, having written the book, music and lyrics for the original musical comedy, COUPLED.

In COUPLED, “there is no real story line, but rather a series of vignettes about love, friendship and the relationships between three disparate couples, each with their own issues, as they spend the weekend together at The New Millennium Oasis Resort.” -Marsha Reiniers, Hernando Today

Rogers, who is planning a move back to Cincinnati in the near future, hopes to also stage COUPLED for local audiences. When that happens, you can find details here on Behind the Curtain.

For more information on COUPLED, you can check out these online reviews for its premiere at the Jimmy Ferraro’ Studio Theatre in New Port Richey, Fla., which continues through Aug. 10.
