The Roman gods have become too old and tired to perform their duties and they’re facing a serious lack of followers. In walks Thespis with his troupe of actors to take their places and save the day, but while they experiment with their new roles, the Universe hangs in the balance. Thespis was the first show written by Gilbert & Sullivan, the writing duo famous for Pirates of Penzance and H.M.S. Pinafore, but the final script and score were lost in a tragic fire. Now using the surviving pieces of the script (and a healthy dash of artistic license), Thespis and his rag-tag group of actors live to make blunders on a cosmic scale again to the delight of audiences of all ages
