This contemporary take on Shakespeare’s classic follows its heroine Rosalind as she flees persecution in her aunt, Duchess Frederica’s court, accompanied by her cousin Celia (Myka Lipscomb) to find safety and family. As fate would have it Orlando, the love of her life, as well must escape the city to avoid his savage brother Oliver, and low and behold they both end up in the forest of Arden, and both in the vicinity of Rosalind’s exiled and usurped mother, Duchess Senior. Come see what happens as Rosalind and Celia leave all that they have known for the forest, where lovers and even family reunite.
