This comedy tells the story of two lost souls who meet in Hell’s Kitchen and fall in love. Tom, a blind, reclusive and embittered former cab driver, and Edna, a volunteer reader who has erected numerous barriers to protect herself from injury, are brought together by Tom’s best friend, Lou, who is moving out of town. An epic battle of wills and wits ensues that proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
