Auditions Announced for SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN at Mariemont Players


SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN auditions for tonight and tomorrow at MPI are cancelled.
They will be rescheduled at a later date.

Mariemont Players and director Dan Maloney announce auditions for SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN by Craig Pospisil.

LOCATION: 4101 Walton Creek Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45227

PERFORMANCE DATES: July 10-26, 2020

Told in ten scenes, the play begins in the dark as Jasper confesses his feelings of isolation to the audience. Sidesplitting encounters with quirky characters follow as Jasper pursues Holly, a pretty bookstore clerk. While attempting to navigate the pitfalls of modern dating, Jasper begins to realize life’s uncertainties aren’t all bad and accepting them is the way to make the best of things.

SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN was written so that it could be produced with as few as six actors (three men and three women). It can also be performed with as many as seventeen actors. Several roles are non-gender or age specific. The New York production premiered with nine actors (four men and five women). Seeking physical performers.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Resumes and head shots are appreciated but not required. Please bring known conflicts May 26th-July 26th. Rehearsals will be determined based on cast availability.
