Storytelling Workshops at Ohio Playwrights Circle

Ohio Playwrights Circle is hosting the first of a SERIES OF THREE storytelling workshops to help you structure your stories into a compelling work of art. Each of the workshops will focus on the structure of a story and how examining the layers of Plot, Motivation, and Theme are critical to creating a deep resonate story regardless of the genre or form.

The November 30 seminar is based on the work of Dr. Dara Marks and her acclaimed book, The Inside Story, available at https://daramarks.com/purchase.php or your favorite bookstore.

The Inside Story Seminar will be November 30, 2019.
The Driving Point Seminar will be January 18, 2020.
The Story Beat Seminar will be March 21, 2020.

All Storytelling Workshops will be held at 3pm in the Burnell Roberts Room at the Metropolitan Arts Center, 126 North Main Street in Dayton.

This seminar is for playwrights, screen writers, fiction and short story writers and more.
Fee is $50 for each workshop.

Instructor Michael M. London, founder of Ohio Playwrights Circle, is an Ohio playwright and educator who has worked with the artist-in-residence program at the Ohio Arts Council since 1986. His plays have been performed in the US, UK and Canada. He has taught workshops and seminars on playwrighting over many years, is a lifetime member of the Dramatists Guild and recently a Guest Professor in Playwrighting at Otterbein University. Michael is a lifetime member of the Dramatists Guild.
